A better deal for Canadian moms.
Our Story
Moms Together aims to increase our political power and directly address our collective challenges. By encouraging political engagement of Canadian moms we can ensure that all political parties are motivated to advance policies that represent the interests of Canadian moms. But we can’t only wait for policy, so we tackle some issues directly. Leveraging technology and combining it with practices of mutual aid, we launch initiatives that take on shared challenges directly.
Past Projects
We’re always looking for new ways to make life a little easier for moms—saving precious time and helping us feel a bit less overwhelmed. Some of our projects might be short-term, but we’re always experimenting with fresh ideas, and who knows? The ones you love might make a comeback!
Buyers Club
We made it easier for parents to pool their purchasing power and cut out corporate profits. By buying directly from manufacturers, we provided diapers at around 30% below big box store prices.
MedFinders
In late 2022, we launched MedFinders to address the acute shortage of children's medicine. Parents collaborated to identify stores with available stock, share resources, and support one another.
VoteGPT
We created VoteGPT to help voters become more informed and prepared for provincial elections in British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. The tool allowed users to chat about their priorities and access answers directly from official policy documents, saving time and effort.
Advocacy Campaigns
We campaigned for increased after-school program funding in Ontario, bringing attention to the broken system and securing better opportunities for families. Effective advocacy campaigns like this create tangible policy changes that improve communities, demonstrating the power of collective action. You can learn more about our current campaigns here.
