Field Organizer

Role Summary: The Field Organizers are responsible for organizing local events, building community engagement, and driving relational organizing efforts. This role focuses on mobilizing moms to take action, promoting vote turnout, and strengthening the presence of Moms Together in local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with local members online, in person, and over the phone to build relationships and encourage voter participation.
Identify and/or create community-specific points of engagement for moms, such as playgroups, school networks, or faith-based gatherings.
Organize and support events, including listening sessions, relational organizing meetups, and voter education gatherings.
Promote Moms Together’s election tools and resources and help moms use them to navigate the election.
Train and coordinate volunteers to maximize outreach efforts.
Track outreach activities and report back on engagement metrics.
Qualifications:
Experience in grassroots organizing, community outreach, or event coordination is an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse communities.
Comfort with digital organizing tools, social media, and phone/text outreach.
A passion for civic engagement and a belief in the power of moms as a political force.
Ability to work independently and adapt strategies to different communities.
Compensation: $22/hour, 15 hours/week for 6-8 weeks (ending on Election Day)
Location: Remote with in-person community engagement in the GHTA and southwestern Ontario, Vancouver, Burnaby, or Surrey.
